      GROSS PAY

    There are two equations for gross pay, one based on no overtime and the other based on overtime hours.

 

Gross Pay = Hourly Wage (Hours Worked)

Gross Pay = Hourly Wage (40 hours) + 1.5(Hourly Wage) (Overtime)

 

 

      OVERTIME

    Any hours worked beyond a required number of hours.

 

      METRIC SYSTEM

   This system  of measurement is the standard for all types of scientific testing around the world. 

 

      CUSTOMARY SYSTEM

     This system of measurement is only standard for five percent of the world.

    Conversion charts can show conversions from any unit of any system to any other unit of any other system of measurement for mass, capacity, or weight.
